I've been hearing about how cool deviantART was for many years now and finally got bored enough to play with an account. I sold my old Motion Tablet a couple of years ago because I'm stupid. I just ordered a refurbed one off Amazon so I'll start posting crappy sketches soon. Until then, people will have to look at my crappy old cg work. Muahahaha!
How did you do it? How did you get into this business? I want to school for it, but I can't get anyone to let me even get my foot in the door to design posters, let alone do character design, without interning for a year with no pay...and I can't do that right now. By the time I'll be able to, I'll have gotten so rusty at everything...gah!
